Procter & Gamble

Procter & Gamble Co is planning regional procurement center in Romania

September 7, 2005 - Bucharest,

"Procter & Gamble Co is planning to open a regional procurement center in Romania which will serve company operations in Western Europe.

This will be co-located with P&G Marketing Romania SRL in its Bucharest office and will employ around 40 people. They will handle the transactional and daily management purchases with focus on indirect purchases. This comes after thorough investigations conducted in several locations in Europe and it is the proof of the increased competence of the country into the area of off-shoring. The skilled workforce, the foreign language proficiency and the general prospects of the country were among the main factors that contributed to the decision."
